    The botanical minute

    The grapefruit tree is native to Indonesia and Malaysia. It was discovered by Europeans in the 13th century, thanks to the Spanish. The grapefruit tree produces its fruit in winter. A very common and tasty citrus fruit, grapefruit is a member of the citrus family. Like all citrus fruits, grapefruit essential oil is photosensitizing and should therefore be avoided before exposure to the sun.

    STORAGE Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from sources of heat and protected from light.

    PRECAUTIONS Essential oils should be used with caution. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use undiluted. Do not use on children, pregnant or nursing women, or people sensitive to essential oils. Consult a health care practitioner if you are taking medication or for any other use. Oil with allergenic potential, test in the crease of the elbow 48 hours before use.
