Description

CALOPHYLLA OIL Softening, nourishing, purifying! Calophylla vegetable oil, called Tamanu by the Tahitians, is a real treasure for the skin. This tropical tree contains a kernel which, after drying and ripening in the sun, yields a thick, green oil. This oil, with its distinctive scent and colour, is full of virtues. To take full advantage of Calophylla oil's properties, we recommend mixing it with another oil to enhance its penetrating power. Its purifying action helps to regenerate the skin while combating imperfections. Skin regains suppleness and elasticity. Calophylla oil is also used to create soaps, massage oils, and anti-aging treatments. It is also a massage oil with circulatory properties, enabling us to create destressing treatments for heavy legs. The botanical minute Calophylla or Tamanu is a tropical plant native to the Indian and Pacific Oceans, growing up to 30 metres high. The fruits of this tree contain a kernel from which the precious oil is extracted.

Product composition

INCI: Calophyllum inophyllum seed oil Origin: Madagascar, Indonesia Part used: Almonds Production process: Cold-pressed and unrefined Composition: Oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, flavonoids and terpenoids Solubility: Miscible in oil Texture/Scent: Green/brown liquid The yellow deposit at the bottom of the bottle is due to the oil's saturated fatty acids, which solidify at room temperature (around 20°C). This phenomenon depends on storage and in no way alters the quality or properties of the oil. To restore the oil to its usual appearance, simply warm it up for a few minutes in a bain-marie.

PACKAGING: 100ml bottle in RPET, a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic, with an aluminum twist cap to release the oil gradually. The RPET (recycled PET) bottle is slightly grey compared with conventional PET. Transparency is therefore slightly altered. As a result, the colour of our oils as seen through the packaging will be slightly different, but it is still the same product. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse for several minutes, keeping the eyelids open. Do not swallow. If swallowed, rinse the mouth.
