    We suggest you change your usual shampoo and turn to a more ecological alternative. Our DIY solid shampoo recipe kills two birds with one stone. Packed with benefits, this zero-waste shampoo is perfect for caring for your hair and the planet at the same time...

    This solid shampoo is made from Tulsi powder, Rhassoul, Jojoba oil, Atlas Cedar essential oil and SCI. All you have to do is try it!

    Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

    Necessary Materials

    Attributes amount for 50g

    • 3 tablespoons SCI (18.75g / 37.5%)

    • 2 teaspoons jojoba oil (10.4g / 10.4ml /20.8%)

    • 2 teaspoons water (8.35g / 8.35mL / 16.7%)

    • 1 teaspoon rhassoul (5.8g / 11.7%)

    • 1 teaspoon tulsi powder (5.8g / 11.7%)

    • 20 drops of organic Atlas cedar essential oil (0.8g / 1.6%)

    Step-by-Step

    1. Weigh and mix the jojoba oil, SCI and water in a bowl. Place the bowl in a bain-marie.

    2. When the SCI has completely melted, remove the bowl from the bain-marie.

    3. Gradually add rhassoul and tulsi powder.

    4. Add Atlas cedar essential oil.

    5. Pour the mixture into a mold and refrigerate for 24 hours. Unmold your shampoo and leave to air for 24 hours before using for the first time.

    How to use this product

    Start by wetting your hair from the roots down. Work the solid shampoo into a lather under running water. Then rub it gently into your scalp and lengths. Rinse with clear water. Store in a dry place.

    Focus on the ingredients

    SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) is a natural surfactant derived from coconut. Thanks to this surfactant, your solid shampoo will hold its shape and give your preparation a lather. SCI also has softening properties.

    Jojoba oil is softening, nourishing, and rebalancing.

    Tulsi powder is rich in vitamins A and C. It deeply cleanses the hair and eliminates toxins.

    Rhassoul is a genuinely natural shampoo. It is extremely gentle on the scalp, purifying it by absorbing sebum and impurities.

    Atlas cedar essential oil purifies the scalp and boosts hair growth.

    Precautions & Warnings

    Avoid contact with the eyes.

    Use essential oils with care. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use pure essential oils and active ingredients. Follow recommended dosages. Do not use on children, pregnant or nursing women, or people sensitive to essential oils. Consult a health care professional in the event of medical treatment or for any other use. Test in the crook of the elbow 48 hours before use. Some essential oils are photo-sensitising: avoid going out in the sun after applying a product containing these essential oils.
