Taking care of your skin in autumn

Tips and tricks

Autumn is a season of transition between the heat of summer and the cold of winter. Temperatures begin to drop and the sun is less and less present. The skin feels it and can suffer. Whether for the face or the body, our routine will change to avoid dehydration.

End of summer, but keep your golden tan

End of summer, but keep your golden tan

Have you taken advantage of the summer to tan your skin and give it a lovely golden glow? Well, even though autumn is here and there's less sun, you can still keep that pretty complexion. Opt for carrot oil or buriti oil. As well as nourishing your skin, they'll give it a pretty color. Don't forget to moisturize your skin.
Self-tanners and other tanning products are also good alternatives. WAAAAW! oils are the natural solution that will give your skin that bronzing glow. .

Prepare your skin for the arrival of winter

Temperatures are not as warm as they used to be, and this has an impact on your skin, whether it's normal, combination, dry or sensitive... The key is to give it what it needs.
We can't stress this enough, but hydration is key. We choose body milks that are a little richer than those we use in summer.
Another very important tip is to hydrate from the inside out by drinking enough water (we tend to drink less than in summer).
If hydration isn't enough, you can apply nourishing skin care products such as creams or butters. Shea whipped cream is a good compromise. Don't forget your hands and feet, which are drier this time of year. As with the rest of the body, moisturize and nourish them to keep them soft and supple.

Take care of your face in autumn

Autumn rhymes with detox. Detoxing your skin is very beneficial, because it will rid it of the toxins accumulated over the summer. Your skin will be more receptive to the care you give it on a daily basis.

At least once a week, you can perform a gentle exfoliation, followed by a mask using green, red, white or rhassoul clay, depending on your skin type. Moisturize and nourish your face, morning and night, and don't forget the eye contour area. For this, choose an appropriate skin care product. We recommend avocado oil, which alone can replace all your eye care products.

Lips are more prone to chapping in autumn. To preserve them, exfoliate once a week and moisturize and nourish several times a day with a lip balm. In the evening, before going to bed, spread shea butter on your lips. You'll see, the results are spectacular.

We hope these few tips will help you enjoy a peaceful autumn, and that your skin will thank you for it.
