Description

Coconut oil Moisturising, softening, and sublimating! Its exceptional fragrance transports us to sun-drenched islands. A mythical beauty ritual from the tropics, coconut oil is naturally rich in saturated fatty acids. It has extraordinary emollient properties. It deeply nourishes even the driest hair and gently softens damaged skin. Extremely rich in lauric acid, its powers are innumerable: it reduces cellulite and diminishes wrinkles and age spots. Its high composition in purifying fatty acids makes it an excellent skin and hair protector. The botanical minute The coconut palm belongs to the palm family, with a sharp stipe (false trunk). An adult coconut palm tree can bear between 50 and 500 nuts over a period of fifteen years. Coconuts can measure up to 30cm in diametre, and are smooth, ranging in colour from green to orange. When ripe, it is covered with a thick layer of brown woody fibres. The solid, more or less spherical shell protects a whitish, edible kernel. The coconut palm is monoecious, producing inflorescences with both female and male flowers. It can therefore fertilize itself. Most dwarf coconut palms reproduce in this way. Coconuts belong to the palm family, and the tallest can exceed 20m in height.

Solubility: Miscible in oil Texture/odor: White oil, melting and solid below 25 degrees, delicious coconut aroma The yellow deposit at the bottom of a bottle comes from the oil's saturated fatty acids, which solidify at room temperature (around 20°C). This phenomenon therefore depends on storage and in no way alters the quality or properties of the oil. To restore the oil to its usual appearance, simply warm it up for a few minutes in a bain-marie.

PACKAGING: 75ml bottle in RPET, a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic, with an aluminum twist cap to release the oil gradually. The RPET (recycled PET) bottle is slightly grey compared with conventional PET. Transparency is therefore slightly altered. As a result, the colour of our oils as seen through the packaging will be slightly different, but it is still the same product. Find out more about our packaging STORAGE: In a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from sources of heat and protected from light. PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse for several minutes, keeping the eyelids open. Do not swallow. If swallowed, rinse the mouth.
