Taking care of your skin in autumn

Autumn is a transitional season between the heat of summer and the cold of winter. Temperatures begin to drop, and the sun is less and less present. Our skin feels it and can suffer. Whether it's for our face or body, our routine will change to avoid dehydration.

End of summer but we keep our pretty golden tan

Did you take advantage of the summer to tan and give your skin a lovely golden glow? Know that even though fall is here and there's less sun, you can still maintain that beautiful complexion. Opt for carrot oil or buriti oil. In addition to nourishing your skin, they'll give it a lovely color. Also, remember to moisturize your skin well.
Self-tanners or other tanning products are also good alternatives. WAAAAW! oils are the natural solution that will give your skin that tan.

We prepare our skin for the arrival of winter

The temperatures are cooler and this is felt on the skin, whether it is normal, combination, dry, sensitive... The key is to give it what it needs.
We can't stress this enough, but hydration is key. We'll choose body lotions that are a little richer than the ones we used in the summer.
Another very important tip: hydrate yourself from the inside by drinking enough water (we tend to drink less than in summer).
If hydration isn't enough, you can apply nourishing treatments like creams or butters. Shea butter whipped cream is a good compromise. Also consider your hands and feet, which are drier this season. As with the rest of your body, moisturize and nourish them to keep them soft.

Take care of your face in autumn

Fall rhymes with detox. Detoxing your skin is very beneficial because it will rid it of toxins accumulated during the summer. Your skin will be more receptive to the care you give it daily.

At least once a week, you can do a gentle scrub and follow with a clay-based mask, green, red, white, or rhassoul, depending on your skin type. Moisturize and nourish your face, morning and evening, and don't forget the eye area. To do this, choose a suitable treatment. We recommend avocado oil, which will replace all your eye contour treatments on its own.

Lips are more chapped in the fall. To protect them, exfoliate once a week and moisturize and nourish them several times a day with lip balm. In the evening, before going to bed, spread shea butter on them. You'll see, the results are spectacular.

We hope these tips will help you have a peaceful autumn and that your skin will thank you.
