Why and how to use detangling hair balm?

Detangling is an essential step in our hair routine. It's important to do it regardless of the nature of your hair: straight, curly, frizzy... We know it's the least fun part of a hair routine, but it's mandatory. Hair is a sensitive material and it's important not to break it, pull it out, or damage it with dry or harsh detangling. Detangling should be done after shampooing on wet hair using a detangler. Our detangling balm is 99% natural ingredients, simple and effective on all hair types.

How and why to use detangling balm?

Many of you are wondering, "Why should I use a detangler ?" and especially, "Should I use a detangler or a conditioner? What's the difference?"

A conditioner can have several properties: detangling, softening, adds shine, etc. In a hair routine, this is when we detangle our hair, that is to say, at the time of the conditioner. The conditioner is generally very rich, it will therefore facilitate detangling. Therefore, the difference between a conditioner and a detangler is simply the name.

The detangling balm will therefore be the "conditioner", it is used after washing the hair. It is important to apply the product well and distribute it over the lengths to facilitate detangling. The detangling balm is a must in a hair routine, it moisturizes and facilitates styling. Without detangling, hair is much more fragile and risks breakage and loss during detangling, which can be quite aggressive depending on the texture of your hair.

How to integrate detangling balm into a hair routine?

Detangling is an easy part of a hair care routine; it's the step between shampooing and applying a mask. It's essential to detangle your hair before applying a moisturizing or nourishing mask.

Detangling will make styling your hair easier, which is why it is important to choose your product carefully.

Rich in Aloe vera, the detangling balm is ideal for all hair types. It can be customized to suit your hair problem and, above all, it moisturizes hair, making it shiny without leaving a greasy finish. It is suitable for both frizzy hair, which is quite difficult to detangle, and fine hair, which becomes greasy very quickly.

Apply the conditioner to clean, damp hair and leave on for a few minutes. You can separate your hair into sections for better detangling. For even gentler detangling, use a soft-bristled brush and detangle your hair from the ends to the roots. Rinse and move on to the next step with the Hair Care Base . Leave the Hair Care on your lengths for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse. Style your hair according to your hair type, with a vegetable oil, Aloe Vera gel, or finish with a small amount of Hair Care leave-in.

How to make your own homemade detangler?

Making your own homemade conditioner is easy! You just need to understand how it works.

To detangle your hair, it's important to use acidic products with a pH lower than 5. It's this acidity that will help close the hair cuticles, coat them, and thus make styling easier. Your hair will be soft and shiny!
