NEEM OIL

Nourishing, purifying, rebalancing

Neem oil (or margosa oil) is a plant oil renowned in Ayurvedic tradition for its purifying and cleansing properties. Its powerful and characteristic spicy scent, as well as its color, attest to its natural richness. Indeed, particularly concentrated in active compounds, it is valued for the care of blemished skin and scalps prone to imbalances.

Neem oil is particularly recommended for oily and acne-prone skin, or for oily scalps or scalps prone to dandruff.

This is a targeted treatment oil, ideal for local use or diluted with other vegetable oils for use on the skin or hair.

The purifying ally for skin and hair

Purifying, neem oil brilliantly helps to cleanse blemish-prone skin and regulate excess sebum. It is particularly suitable for combination to oily skin, as well as acne-prone skin. Its richness in omega-9 also makes the skin more supple, softer, and nourished.

Ideal for problem scalps (dandruff, itching, excess sebum), neem oil helps to purify and rebalance the scalp. It is particularly beneficial for hair detox routines.

The botanical minute

Neem, also known as the margosa tree, can live up to 200 years and reach heights of 20 meters. It grows in warm climates. Its fragrant flowers develop into small, edible yellow fruits, from which neem oil is extracted. Neem leaves have a very bitter taste and are consumed in Ayurvedic tradition to purify the blood. Neem oil is produced from cold-pressed neem seeds.

The yellow deposit at the bottom of a bottle comes from the saturated fatty acids in the oil which solidify at room temperature (approximately 20°C).

This phenomenon therefore depends on storage conditions and does not alter the quality or properties of the oil in any way.
To restore its usual appearance, simply warm it for a few minutes in a bain-marie.
