Ever heard of 'Oil Pulling'? Now is the time to get started: Make your own vegetable oil mouthwash with coconut oil, vegetable charcoal, sodium bicarbonate, and peppermint essential oil for fresh breath and a healthy mouth!

Step-by-Step

  1. In a glass bowl, weigh and mix the coconut oil, charcoal and sodium bicarbonate.

  2. Place the mixture in a bain-marie until melted.

  3. Remove from heat, add essential oil and stir.

  4. Transfer your vegetable oil mouthwash into a clean container.

  5. Your recipe is finished.

How to use this product

Before brushing your teeth, use your mouthwash recipe. Keep the product in your mouth, circulating the oil between your teeth for 5 to 10 minutes, then spit out the mouthwash. Then brush your teeth.

Coconut oil helps eliminate impurities and prevent cavities.

Vegetable charcoal and sodium bicarbonate make enamel whiter and teeth smoother.

Peppermint essential oil for fresh breath.

Essential oils should be used with caution. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use undiluted. Do not use on children, pregnant or nursing women, or people sensitive to essential oils. Consult a health care practitioner if you are taking medication or for any other use. Test in the crook of the elbow 48 hours before use. Some essential oils are photosensitising: Avoid going out in the sun after applying a product containing these essential oils.
