Strengthen your hair with rice proteins and plant ceramides

Hair is an adornment, a beauty asset for many of us.

Whether they're short or long, straight or curly, whatever their texture, we like them to be healthy! To achieve this, we need to take care of them and prevent them from becoming fragile.

Indeed, fragile hair quickly becomes dry, brittle and even dull.

Luckily, we have two active ingredients that are king when it comes to strengthening your hair: Rice proteins and plant-based ceramides!

Here are some tips for using them properly.

Rice protein

Rice is a staple food, but it also has cosmetic properties! It's used by many women in Asia, particularly in India, and also in Africa, in beauty rituals. Some women use rice water to make a rinse and strengthen their hair.

How does rice work on hair?

Rice is very rich in protein. Our hair is also made of it. More specifically, it's composed primarily of keratin, which is itself partly made of protein. When hair lacks protein, it's likely to become drier, more brittle, and more fragile.

We can therefore provide them with proteins internally, through a balanced diet, but also externally. Applying protein treatments strengthens the hair by reinforcing keratin (the main component of hair).
Rice proteins will make your hair softer, easier to detangle, and shinier. As a bonus, they will help maintain hair moisture.
Sheathing and strengthening, they are easy to use in hair care to enhance the hair.

The + : Rice proteins can also be incorporated into creams and body care products to soften the skin.

Plant ceramides

What are ceramides?

Ceramides are a bit like cement that binds the hair scales together. In this way, they form a barrier around the hair, protecting it from external aggressions. This also helps retain moisture in the hair.

We naturally have ceramides present on our skin and under the scalp (they are produced in the bulb, at the base of the hair). However, there are other ceramides as well. There are synthetic ceramides, created in laboratories by humans, and plant-based ceramides, which are natural.

Our plant ceramides are natural and extracted from rice.

Uses:

- Hair care
- Shine spray
- Fortifying shampoo

Please note: Plant-based ceramides are water-soluble and oil-insoluble. They should not be used undiluted. Recommended dosage: 1 to 10%.

How will plant ceramides enhance my hair?

First, they form a protective film around the hair. This will protect it from wind, heat, dryness, etc. They are also known to protect and revive the shine of colored hair, which tends to become fragile more easily.

Plant-based ceramides strengthen and soften hair, helping to reduce breakage.

Finally, they add shine to the hair, improve its texture and make styling and detangling easier.

It's a real hair Swiss Army knife! It will allow you to take care of your hair, strengthen it while simplifying styling.
