This tropical tree contains an almond whose seed, after drying and maturing in the sun, produces a thick green oil. This oil, with its characteristic smell and color, contains many virtues. To fully benefit from the properties of Calophyllum oil, we recommend mixing it with another oil to improve its penetration capacity.
Its healing and purifying action helps regenerate skin tissue while combating imperfections. The skin thus regains suppleness and elasticity. It also helps to alleviate skin problems such as psoriasis, mycoses and eczema, while soothing the skin. Calophyllum oil is also used to create soaps, massage oils and anti-aging treatments. Calophyllum, or Tamanu, is a tropical plant native to the Indian and Pacific Oceans, which can grow up to 30 meters tall. The fruit of this tree contains a kernel from which precious oil is obtained.
