Borage oil, obtained by cold pressing, is very rich in fatty acids and helps to care for mature skin as well as brittle hair and nails.
Borage is a herbaceous plant that grows between 60 and 80 cm tall. Native to Syria, borage belongs to the Boraginaceae family. Its stem has rough hairs and its 5-petaled flowers are royal blue. It blooms between May and September. When ripe, its seeds fall to the ground and provide seed from one year to the next.
