The fragrance of the Damask rose is reminiscent of roses once found in gardens. It is primarily cultivated for the production of essential oils. As its name suggests, the Damask rose actually comes from Damascus in Syria. Today, it is mainly cultivated in Morocco, Turkey, and Bulgaria. Combined with aloe vera water, Damask rose floral water intensely hydrates the skin.
Damask Rose floral water gently tones and purifies the skin, ideal for combination to oily skin. If you suffer from allergic reactions or rosacea, it will help calm irritations. Also known for its anti-aging properties, Damask Rose floral water is a true anti-wrinkle agent that will regenerate the skin and prevent aging. The botanical minute
This old rosebush is a natural hybrid. Damask roses are shrubs with deciduous, thorny stems, measuring 1 to 2 meters in height. Its pinkish-toned flowers are medium-sized and grouped in bouquets. This shrub can measure up to 2.2 meters in height. Its stem is hairy and robust, it contains numerous curved prickles. It is thanks to its long roots, buried deep in the soil, that it draws its resources from its desert environment.

The Damask rose is believed to have appeared long before humans appeared on Earth, 35 million years ago. According to legend, these roses were used by the first Persian pilgrims in the southeastern valley of Morocco. They allowed them to delineate the boundaries of their fields.
