Ideal for the care of combination to oily skin, this citrus hydrosol brightens the complexion, leaving it fresh and radiant while tightening pores and eliminating blackheads.
Purifying and astringent, this floral water rebalances oily areas and reduces blemishes. It also cares for damaged nails and cuticles. Furthermore, its astringent and purifying properties make lemon floral water an ally for problem skin. Combined with aloe vera water, this hydrosol will soothe and hydrate the skin even more effectively.
The botanical minute
The lemon is a citrus fruit, the fruit of the lemon tree, whose juice has a pH of 2.5. The lemon tree is an evergreen shrub, 5 to 10 meters tall, belonging to the Rutaceae family. The ripe fruit has a peel that ranges from pale green to bright yellow when exposed to cold. Its flesh is juicy, acidic, and rich in vitamin C. An essential oil is extracted from the peel, containing, among other substances, limonene and citral. Is lemon floral water a fruit water? Lemon floral water is a hydrosol, obtained by cutting and then distilling lemons or lemon tree leaves. Lemon juice, on the other hand, is obtained by pressing lemons to extract their juice.
