Rosemary is a shrub native to the Mediterranean that thrives in sunny, humid areas and grows to a height of 1 to 2 meters. Like mint, it belongs to the Lamiaceae family. It is very hardy and can survive down to -12°C. It is an aromatic plant rich in essential oil that is widely used in cooking, particularly in traditional medicine. It is also widely used in perfumery.
