It’s not for nothing that Scotch pine essential oil is said to be a winter staple! This essential oil is ideal for the entire respiratory system. It is effective in cases of bronchitis, sinusitis, and other respiratory infections, as well as for coughs. In short, it is recommended for all common winter ailments, including the fatigue they often cause.
Purifying, it is also frequently used in diffusers, especially since its scent is fresh, woody, and pleasant.
Botanical minute
The Scotch pine, which reaches a remarkable height of nearly 50 meters, is distinguished from other conifers by the color of its bark. When young, its bark is gray, but as it ages, it takes on a reddish color that is easily recognizable. Still on the subject of color, its needles have a bluish-gray hue. They are pointed but supple and therefore not prickly, unlike other conifers.
