A staple of Ayurvedic tradition, Shikakai powder, rich in plant saponin, is traditionally used as a cleansing paste to replace shampoo.
Thanks to its naturally low pH, it gently cleanses without damaging the scalp and lengths while providing numerous benefits. It is appreciated for its sheathing action, it strengthens, detangles and restores shine to hair. So much so that it will even replace your conditioner.
The botanical minute
Acacia concinna is a climbing shrub common in the warmer regions of central and southern India. This thorny shrub can grow up to 5 meters tall and is a member of the legume family. Its fruit, from which the powder is derived, is a slightly flattened pod. This species is considered an invasive species in New Caledonia.

CONSERVATION :
Protect from heat, light, and humidity. Close tightly after use.
PRECAUTIONS:
It is advisable to avoid using metal containers and utensils (other than stainless steel).
It is advisable to carry out a test in the crease of the elbow or on a small area 24 hours before application to limit any reactions.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse for several minutes while holding the eyelids apart. Do not swallow. If swallowed, rinse mouth.
Acacia concinna leaves have a sour taste and are sometimes used in chutneys.
"Shikakai" means "hair fruit" in Tamil language.

Je trouve dommage que les explications ne soient pas plus claires pour se laver les cheveux. J' ai utilisé une seule fois et pas concluant car j' ai mal fait et mes cheveux étaient très secs après. Dommage
