Did you know that?

The wood of the Carapa procera tree is widely used in architecture by carpenters and cabinetmakers due to its resistance to insect attacks, termites, and other parasites. Touloucouna oil also has a repellent effect against lice and other insect bites; this is why it is traditionally used to protect other types of wood.

Very little known, it was only in 2005 that Touloucouna Oil was registered in international nomenclatures.
