How to use floral waters?

Floral waters are a complete treatment in their own right, and they have so much to offer. If you're still wondering how to use them, the following should answer your questions.

What is floral water?

Floral water is obtained by steam distillation of flowers or plants using the same principle as essential oil extraction. Floral waters are naturally enriched with essential oils (traces).
They should not be confused with hydrosols. The latter are residues obtained during the manufacture of essential oils.

Floral waters are products in their own right.
The quantity of flowers used to make 100kg of floral water will determine the product's concentration. For example, if your floral water is 1% concentrated, this means that 1kg of dried flowers was used.

Why use floral waters?

Floral waters are primarily used in aromatherapy and cosmetics. They naturally find their place in skincare and haircare routines.

They provide hydration thanks to the water they contain, and depending on the properties of the plants and flowers used, floral waters will provide you with many other benefits. Anti-aging, purifying, calming, regulating, softening, healthy glow... so many virtues offered by nature.

And for the hair, they will provide hydration, tone the scalp, act on dandruff...

If you're not confident using essential oils, you can turn to floral waters. Be careful, they won't replace them in terms of effectiveness, but since floral waters contain a small amount of essential oils, you can still enjoy some of their benefits.
