8 new ways to use your aloe vera gel

Tips and tricks

Best known for defining curls and moisturising skin and hair, aloe vera gel has many other uses.
It can be personalised and integrated into your skincare routine to take full advantage of its properties.

Here are a few tips.

1- MAKE-UP BASE

Extremely moisturizing, aloe gel is the perfect ingredient for caring for your skin. It can be used as a base before applying make-up.

Apply a dab of aloe vera gel to a clean, dry face. Leave on for a few minutes, just long enough for the gel to penetrate the skin. Then apply your day cream, if you wish.

Finally, you can apply your make-up. Your skin will be preserved because the make-up won't clog its pores. It will also remain well hydrated throughout the day.

2 - EYEBROW GEL

Can't keep your eyebrows in place all day?

Put a little aloe vera gel on a brow brush and brush your brows with it.

Tadam, you're done!

3- BODY AND HAIR GLITTER GEL

As you know at WAAM, we love the luminous, glittery effect on the skin. If you like it too, try this: Mix a few bronze or gold micas into your aloe vera gel.

Spread over your body and hair.
Your skin and hair are moisturized and you're glowing!

4- CUTICLE CARE

Thanks to its emollient properties, aloe Vera gel will soften and moisturize your cuticles. This allows them to be gently removed afterwards, while preventing your nails from drying out.

5- TO DISCIPLINE ELECTRIC HAIR

Subjected to static electricity, hair can sometimes become unruly. This makes it difficult to style your hair the way you want. To remedy this, make way for aloe vera.

Simply apply a small amount to the palms of your hands, then spread over your hair, from roots to ends. Then comb through with your fingers. Your hair will no longer be electric. Easy, isn't it?

6- ANTI-DANDRUFF TREATMENT

Are you prone to dandruff? Anti-dandruff shampoos sometimes have trouble alleviating itching and dandruff. Here's another alternative: aloe vera gel.

Diluted in your shampoo base or applied in a scalp or hair mask, it will work wonders. Highly soothing, it has strong moisturizing properties, prevents dryness and irritation, and soothes and calms the skin. So you have everything to gain by adding it to your hair care routine..

7- TONING AND TIGHTENING SERUM

Aloe Vera gel gives skin a toned appearance. It makes skin look younger, fresher and more beautiful.

Incorporated into your DIY toner or applied alone to the skin, it will give it a boost. Your complexion looks fresh and radiant.

8- SOOTHING AFTER-SUN CARE

There's nothing like a dollop of aloe vera gel to soothe irritation or itching.

Aloe vera calms and soothes the skin, especially after exposure to the sun.
