Before choosing an oil for your skin, have you ever wondered whether the ones you buy are of good quality? Unfortunately, there's something for everyone on the market. To find out, turn over your bottle of oil and read its composition. If you buy coconut oil, for example, it must contain only coconut oil, otherwise it's a mixture of oils. Choose 100% pure oils.
To retain all its properties, a vegetable oil must be first cold-pressed. This means that the oil must be extracted without heating the seeds or fruit.

You should also check that your oil does not contain mineral oils, derived from petroleum. Mineral oils do nothing for the skin. They can clog pores. Their presence is indicated by one of the following terms: Paraffinum Liquidum, Petrolatum, Cera Microcristallina, Ozokerite, Ceresin, Mineral oil or with words such as methicone or siloxane.
