Original and zero waste gift wrapping

Nothing could be simpler than reusing your empty WAAM mica bottle, which will turn it into a very pretty gift wrapper.
Whether it's for small pieces of jewelry (earrings, bracelets or fine necklaces) or for a small attention like a little holiday souvenir by slipping in, using a funnel, a little sand from the beach of your vacation.
After putting your gift inside, all you have to do is make a little label to add a sweet message.

Necessary equipment

  • Your empty WAAM mica bottle
  • Some cardboard paper
  • A pair of scissors
  • A rule
  • Pencils
  • A piece of string or thin ribbon

Precautions

  • Before you start, remember to protect your work area well to avoid leaving glue marks or damaging your table.
  • Remember to clean your empty pot or container thoroughly before you begin.

The stages of the realization

1 - Trace the outline of your label on your slightly thick paper using a ruler.

2 - Cut along your lines.

3 - Make a small hole in your label using the tip of a pen or a wheel. This will be used to pass the thread through.

4 - Write your little note on the label.

5 - Thread the thread through the hole in your label and then wrap it around the top of the bottle. Then simply tie a knot.

6 - Slide your gift inside. If it's a necklace, you can attach it to the cap using adhesive tape, for example.

7 - Your gift is ready to be given!
