What is a co-creation day? We simply invited some of you to spend a day at our premises with the WAAM team to participate in the various stages of creating a new product. This product? Shea butter with a new fragrance. Yuzu shea butter is the product that launched the WAAM brand in 2016. So, for its 5th anniversary, what could be more natural than offering you a new version of this iconic product in a limited edition? How did the day go? 10 of you joined us for a full day full of adventures. We started with a friendly breakfast. This was followed by a presentation of shea butter and the cooperative we work with and which is so dear to our hearts. (Find all the information HERE) . We have reviewed or learned for some, the very special manufacturing process of shea butter (also described in one of our blog articles ). Then came the time to practice. Together, we tested and chose the scent of the new Instant Douceur shea butter, as well as its label, name, and the words used to describe it in the product sheet. Brainstorming time: a reflective meeting full of discussion and good humor. Our goal was to recreate this scent, which combines the creaminess of almonds with the indulgence of a honeyed note. A true awakening of the senses! With such dedicated co-creators, it was not difficult to achieve this goal. A new butter for our 5th anniversary! Once this part is over, everything is regulated, we send the product for testing and the entire process is explained to the participants. Time to celebrate: a beautiful day could only end with a DIY workshop on making a shea butter whipped cream! And at WAAM, we love to share, the participants were able to test the product in preview, they gave their opinion, which you can see in video HERE . We are proud to be able to offer you this new product in the image of WAAM: a brand that listens, close and inspired by its community! In keeping with our values, the day was filled with sharing, as beauty unites us! A gathering that reflects who we are and where everyone was able to express their creativity. This very enriching day gave birth to Instant Softness Shea Butter, which customers were able to receive and test in preview!
