Necessary equipment Your jar of coconut vegetable oil with its aluminum cover Hot glue Rope A cutter or a saw A pair of scissors A ruler and a marker Precautions Start by thoroughly washing your empty bottle, remove the label (if you have difficulty removing it, do not hesitate to leave the container to soak in warm water or use nail polish remover or alcohol to remove the last residue of glue) Before you start, remember to protect your work area well to avoid leaving marks or damaging your table. The stages of the realization 1 - Start by removing the lid from the pot. On the lid, use a marker or ruler to mark the line along which the cut will be made. We recommend keeping at least half of the lid to allow room for adding soil. 2 - Cut the cover along the line drawn with a cutter or saw. 3 - Replace the remaining part of the lid on your jar by carefully gluing it with hot glue. 4 - Next step: securing. There are several possible solutions for this. For example, you can make two holes in the pot to slide the rope through. We have chosen another solution that requires less handling. Simply wrap the rope completely around your pot, leave some length on each side above the pot, and then tie a knot to tie the two strands together. 5 - Your suspension is ready to be hung. 6 - All you have to do now is use your imagination to fill it with little plants! WAAM Tip We advise against planting plants that require a lot of water, as the watertightness of your hanging basket will depend on how tightly you glue your aluminum lid. You can choose fake plants or succulents that only require misting.
