The word mica comes from the “morning micare” which means to shine, to sparkle. Natural mica has been used since the 1970s as pearlescent pigments in cosmetics. Indeed, these small particles make it possible to reflect the light thus obtaining this pearly and brilliant effect.

Your beauty recipe: Sparkling oil
- 20ml of carrot oil
- 10ml of coconut oil
- 2g bronze mica
In a clean container, pour carrot oil and liquid coconut oil (you can warm it in a double boiler if it has solidified). Mix and add the bronze pearl mica. Mix again very lightly using a wooden spoon. Do not stir too long so that the pearly micas retain their shine.
Express recipe :
To make your DIY tanning bars, you will need :20gr of vegetable wax, 28gr of shea butter, 15ml of buriti oil, 15ml carrot oil, A pinch of mica
In a clean bowl, pour the vegetable wax, shea butter (you can heat it in a double boiler to make it liquid if you want) and mix using with a small whisk or a wooden spoon.
Then add the oils and finally the micas. Mix again then pour everything into your molds and leave for 48 hours in the fridge. Once solidified, you can use them on your skin for a tanned and luminous effect.

Super, je l'ai utilisé(e) en tant que far à paupière et c'est top! Très peu de matière suffit et c'est très rentable niveau qualité/prix. Je compte le tester bientôt en association avec l'huile de carotte.
