Description

YELLOW NUTSEDGE OIL

Nourishing, anti-oxidant, limits hair regrowth!

Traditionally used by Oriental women, Tiger Nuts oil is renowned for reducing and slowing hair regrowth. Rich in omega-6 and 9, this oil deeply nourishes the skin, leaving it soft and supple. In fact, over time, users of Tiger Nuts oil have found that their hair grows back more finely and sparsely. For best results, apply the oil after waxing, making sure you have removed the hair at the root, then use the oil daily on the area, massaging lightly. What's more, thanks to its soothing properties, Tiger Nuts oil is particularly recommended after shaving or waxing. Applied to hair, it deeply nourishes the capillary fibre, restoring shine and suppleness.

Did you know? Yellow nutsedge is an edible plant used in cosmetics for its antioxidant virtues, which help slow down premature skin ageing, as well as for its nourishing properties, which restore suppleness and elasticity to the skin.

The botanical minute

Used in cooking and cosmetics, Tiger Nuts produce 'ground almonds'. It can grow to between 30 and 50cm in height. This edible plant has slender, elongated leaves (5 to 10mm wide). It often grows near water, as it appreciates humidity.

Product composition

INCI: Cyperus esculentus root oil

Origin: Mali

Part used: Tubers

Production method: First cold pressing

Composition: Oleic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid, vitamin E, and phytosterols

Solubility: Miscible in oil

Texture/Scent: Yellow-orange liquid, hazelnut scent

The yellow deposit at the bottom of the bottle is due to the oil's saturated fatty acids, which solidify at room temperature (around 20°C).

This phenomenon therefore depends on storage and in no way alters the quality or properties of the oil. To restore the oil to its usual appearance, simply warm it up for a few minutes in a bain-marie.

PACKAGING: 100ml bottle in RPET, a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic, with an aluminum twist cap to release the oil gradually.

The RPET (recycled PET) bottle is slightly grey compared with conventional PET. Transparency is therefore slightly altered. As a result, the colour of our oils as seen through the packaging will be slightly different, but it is still the same product.

Souchet is also used to prepare a Spanish drink called 'horchata de chufa'. This sweet, refreshing beverage has digestive, diuretic, and disinfectant properties. This drink is traditionally served with 'fartons', small elongated buns.
