Description

Well-known in the kitchen, but much less so in cosmetics, vinegars are packed with benefits for both skin and hair!

Hibiscus vinegar is a treasure for hair, beautifying it and making it shine. Rich in organic acids, hibiscus vinegar helps repair damaged hair. What's more, these organic acids prevent the appearance of dandruff and promote a healthier scalp, favoring hair growth. With its pretty pink-to-red colour, it can be used as a rinse-off vinegar incorporated into the last rinse water, or in a detangling or shine spray, the choice is yours.

Your skin won't be left out with hibiscus vinegar, which is rich in organic acids and AHAs that act as exfoliants. The result is a more even, radiant complexion. AHAs prevent pores from being blocked by impurities and excess sebum, making them ideal for oily skin. Finally, hibiscus vinegar also has a purifying action.

The botanical minute

Bissap is an herbaceous plant of the Malvaceae family that grows in tropical zones. Its leaves are simple, whole, or lobed. Bissap is probably the only plant whose calyxes, so loaded with organic acids, can be turned into fruit and used for the same purposes. The well-known hibiscus flower, ranging from white to dar red, is consumed in certain regions, notably as an infusion to make Bissap, a drink with medicinal properties.
