Description

RED MANDARIN ESSENTIAL OIL

Red mandarin essential oil is recommended orally and as a vapor for people suffering from stress or insomnia, thanks to its calming and relaxing properties. Its sweet, fruity scent is highly appreciated for diffusion.

This essential oil is also indicated orally for digestive disorders or overeating, as it is an excellent digestive tonic as well as a mild laxative.

Finally, Red Mandarin essential oil has toning and antiseptic properties that may be of interest when applied to the skin, notably for cellulite or blemished skin, but should not be applied undiluted.

Caution: This essential oil is photosensitizing, so avoid exposure to the sun for at least 6 hours after application.

The red mandarin tree is a citrus fruit native to Italy and Southeast Asia. It's a small tree with dark-green leaves, no more than 8 metres tall. The mandarin fruit is sweet, divided into quarters, and contains numerous seeds. Mandarins are less acidic than other citrus fruits.
