What is a cleansing oil?

What is a cleansing oil?

This oil will both cleanse and moisturize the skin. First, the oil removes impurities from the skin. Then, on contact with water, it takes on a milky appearance and becomes a cleansing milk that cleanses the skin. This applies equally to facial and body skin.

Finally, it maintains skin hydration while leaving a light, silky, non-greasy finish. Our milky cleansing oil is essentially composed of sweet almond oil and also contains vitamin E oil. These ingredients ensure cleansing that won't dry out or irritate the skin.

Suitable for all skin types, it can also be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Made from all-natural ingredients, it can be used on its own or mixed with vegetable oils, essential oils, active ingredients or fragrance extracts. We therefore offer you a cleansing oil that can be used as a base for your DIY cleansing or moisturizing recipes, for example.

How to use cleansing oil

Discover 7 uses for milky oil:

1. As a cleansing milk for the face

To remove make-up from your face, you can use milky oil to make a cleansing milk. It's very simple. If you don't like the oily texture of a make-up remover, this will give you a milky, nourishing product.
This type of make-up remover is ideal for more sensitive skin requiring gentle cleansing.

Mix a little milky cleansing oil base with moisturizing milk base and you're done. Apply to a reusable cotton pad and cleanse your skin. You can add the vegetable or essential oils of your choice if you wish. If you wish, you can apply a floral water to your face using a reusable cotton pad. This will perfect your make-up removal.

2. Gentle two-phase eye and face make-up remover

Removing make-up from the eyes is an important step in your make-up removal routine. As a sensitive area, your eyes need to be gently cleansed. If you wear waterproof make-up, you're probably looking for a make-up remover that's both gentle and effective. A two-phase make-up remover will do both.

To do this, mix a little milky cleansing oil with a floral water of your choice (cornflower floral water orDamask rose floral water, for example). The result is a gentle, two-phase make-up remover!

3. As a cleansing oil for the face

Cleansing oil is perfect if you enjoy layering make-up removal. The layering method consists in following several makeup removal steps. Start with an oil to remove make-up. This is followed by a mild soap or cleanser. Finally, we apply a floral water to tone the skin and a vegetable oil to nourish it. To cleanse your skin with oil, simply pour a little milky cleansing oil base into the palm of your hands, then apply it to your face.

Gently massage your face with your hands as you apply it. Finish by rinsing your face with water. That's it! You can nourish your skin with a vegetable oil if you wish, but the milky cleansing oil will also nourish the skin, so this remains optional.

Have you ever felt your skin dry and tight after a shower or bath?

Sometimes, if you forget to moisturize and nourish your skin after a shower, it can become very dry. This is particularly true when the water used contains a lot of limescale. The best way to remedy this is to moisturize your skin as soon as possible after showering, when it's still damp.

The advantage of shower oil is that it retains moisture and makes skin softer. It can be applied directly in the shower, so there's no need to think about applying cream or butter afterwards! What's more, it's very easy to use: after washing, apply a little milky cleansing oil to your body. Finish by rinsing your body with warm or hot water.
Your skin is clean and nourished.
