    Description

    BORAGE OIL

    Protective, revitalizing, firming!

    Borage oil has been recommended for many years for its benefits to the skin, both internally and externally. This oil is especially indicated for restoring skin nutrition and suppleness. Its edible, blue, starry flowers are used in cooking to add colour and a touch of spring to dishes. Borage oil, obtained by cold pressing, is very rich in fatty acids and can be used to care for mature skin as well as brittle hair and nails.

    The botanical minute

    Borage is a herbaceous plant measuring between 60 and 80cm in height. Native to Syria, borage belongs to the Boraginaceae family. Its stem is rough-haired and its 5-petal flowers are blue-red in colour. It blooms between May and September. When mature, its seeds fall to the ground, providing seeds from one year to the next.

    100% of total ingredients are of natural origin - 100% of total ingredients are organically grown. COSMOS Organic certified by Ecocert Greenlife according to COSMOS standards.

    Production process: Cold-pressed

    Composition: Linoleic acid (Omega-6), oleic acid (Omega-9), palmitic acid, stearic acid, and nervonic acid.

    Solubility: Miscible in oil

    Texture/Scent: Yellow-green liquid

    PACKAGING: 100ml bottle in RPET, a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic, with an aluminum twist cap to release the oil gradually.

    The RPET (recycled PET) bottle is slightly grey compared with conventional PET. Transparency is therefore slightly altered. As a result, the colour of our oils as seen through the packaging will be slightly different, but it is the same product.

    STORAGE: In a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from sources of heat and protected from light.

    PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse for several minutes, keeping the eyelids open. Do not swallow. If swallowed, rinse the mouth.

    Borage is also known for its action on the female cycle, particularly during the menopause. Many dietary supplements are based on borage to balance and minimize menopausal syndromes.

    Use alone

    For fortified nails: Before your manicure, soak your nails in a borage oil bath for 5 to 10 minutes.

    To restore nourishment and suppleness to the skin: Apply a few drops of borage oil to the face.
