Borage has been recommended for many years for its virtues on the skin both internally and externally. This oil is especially indicated to restore nutrition and suppleness to the skin. Its edible, blue and starry flowers are used in cooking to color dishes and bring a spring touch. The botanical minute
Borage is a herbaceous plant measuring between 60 and 80 cm in height. Originally from Syria, borage belongs to the Boraginaceae family. Its stem has coarse hairs and its 5 petalled flowers with are royal blue in color. It blooms between May and September. When they reach maturity, its seeds fall to the ground and ensure the seed is sown from one year to the next.
