Description

Palmarosa essential oil is best known for its use in deodorants. Its effectiveness regulates perspiration and inhibits the development of unpleasant odors thanks to its antibacterial activity. It is also indispensable for all skin problems such as acne and eczema, and can also be used to treat fungal infections of all kinds. On the hair, it helps fight dandruff and tone the scalp.

The botanical minute

Palmarosa is a species of herb known for its aromatic uses, named for its rose-like scent. It is also known as 'Geranium of India'. It belongs to the Poaceae family, which comprises at least 50 species. It is found in India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Brazil, Madagascar, and the Comoros. The leaves of this herbaceous plant are very long, sometimes reaching 3m in height. Palmarosa's flowers are very similar to those of the geranium.
