Here's a recipe for solid deodorant. It contains baking soda, but clay and coconut oil will make this deodorant less aggressive.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Necessary Materials

Attributes amount for 50g

  • 1 tablespoon candelilla wax (8g / 16.1%)

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (14.5g / 14.5ml / 29%)

  • 2 tablespoons white clay (9.2g / 18.4%)

  • 2 tablespoons baking soda (18g / 36.1%)

  • 5 drops palmarosa essential oil (0.2g / 0.4%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Start by weighing and measuring out the candelilla wax and coconut oil. Put them in your bowl in a bain-marie.

  2. Let the wax melt in the coconut oil. Remove the bowl from the water bath as soon as you can see no more wax.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in white clay and baking soda until smooth.

  4. Finally, add 5 drops of Palmarosa essential oil.

  5. You can give your deodorant a pretty shape by letting it harden in a silicone mold. Simply pour it into the mold and let it set for 1 hour in the fridge. You can also simply store it in a jar with a lid.

  6. Your deodorant for sensitive skin is now ready.

How to use this product

Apply solid deodorant directly under the armpits. Then massage in with your fingers to spread the product evenly. If your deodorant comes in a jar, simply take a small amount with your finger or a spatula and massage it under the armpits. White clay and baking soda will absorb moisture from your armpits. Coconut oil and palmarosa essential oil will limit the formation of unpleasant odours. Store in a cool place.
