We've shared a number of simple recipes (balm, lotion, oil...) for caring for these gentlemen's beards. To complete this routine, we suggest making a soothing aftershave.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Necessary Materials

Attributes amount for 200ml

  • 12 tablespoons moisturizing milk (185.4g / 92.7%)

  • 1 teaspoon witch hazel floral water (6g / 6ml / 3%)

  • 2 teaspoons calendula oil (8g / 8ml / 4%)

  • 15 drops lavender aspic essential oil (0.6g / 0.3%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Start by pouring the moisturizing milk base into the bowl.

  2. Add the witch hazel floral water and whisk until smooth

  3. Pour the calendula oil into the measuring glass and add the lavender essential oil.

  4. Mix these two ingredients before pouring into the moisturizing milk and floral water mixture.

  5. Whisk until the ideal fluid texture is obtained.

  6. Transfer the fluid into the bottle using a funnel.

  7. The soothing, moisturizing aftershave fluid is ready.

How to use this product

Apply the fluid to shaved areas, massaging gently. You can apply it immediately after shaving and for the following days.

Lavender Aspic essential oil is of course optional. Remember to do an allergy test in the crook of the elbow before using it on the rest of your skin.

Store the fluid for 1 month, away from air and moisture. We forgot to tell you, but you can use a little soothing and moisturising aftershave fluid to calm your skin after waxing.

The benefits of the soothing, moisturising aftershave fluid

Shaving, especially when done regularly, can cause irritation and unpleasant sensations on the skin. It needs to be soothed.

Calendula oil, combined with lavender Aspic essential oil, will calm it. The skin also needs more moisture.

Moisturising lotion and witch hazel floral water will help. A perfect post-shave combination.

This recipe can be repeated up to 10 times using the above products.
