    Description

    CALENDULA OIL Soothing, Repairing, Regenerating! Calendula oil, also known as 'Marigold', has been used for centuries for its soothing properties. Calendula oil offers all its repairing benefits to nourish and soothe even the most delicate skins, as well as irritated scalps. In cosmetic use, Calendula oil is a marvel for sensitive skin prone to feelings of discomfort and tightness, but also for the fragile skin of babies. Indeed, this oil is considered a hypoallergenic oil, ideal for the delicate skin of babies, which is often prone to redness and minor irritation. As well as being extremely gentle, its antioxidant-rich composition gives it protective properties that help protect the skin from ageing. Calendula oil is undoubtedly a complete oil for the whole family! The botanical minute Calendula (or marigold) flower is known for its tinctorial qualities. It has long been used for its yellow colour, obtained from the decoction of its flowers, a natural dye that is not harmful to health.

COSMOS Organic certified by Ecocert Greenlife according to the COSMOS standard Origin: Germany, Albania, Egypt Part used: Dried flowers Production method: Extract obtained by filtration after long maceration and agitation of the plant in organic sunflower oil. Composition: Carotenoids, triterpenic alcohols, physterols, phenolic acids, tannins, flavonoids. Solubility: In oil Texture/Scent: Yellow-orange liquid

    PACKAGING: 100ml bottle in RPET, a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic, with an aluminum twist cap to release the oil gradually. The RPET (recycled PET) bottle is slightly grey compared with conventional PET. Transparency is therefore slightly altered. As a result, the colour of our oils as seen through the packaging will be slightly different, but it is still the same product. Learn more about our packaging STORAGE: In a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from sources of heat and protected from light. PRECAUTIONS: In case of contact with the eyes, rinse for several minutes, keeping the eyelids open. If swallowed, rinse the mouth.

    Calendula takes its name from the Latin 'solsequia', meaning 'which follows the sun'. Calendula flowers open at sunrise and close at sunset. In Latin, Calendula meant 'the first day of the month' to the Romans. In fact, its flowers follow one another every month. Flowering occurs in waves of 30 days.

    Use alone

    Soothing oil: Apply a few drops of calendula oil to the affected areas to soothe the skin.

    Bath oil: A few drops of calendula oil in your baby's bath water will give him or her the benefit of Calendula oil's soothing and protective properties.
