Hair removal, however popular it may be, can be aggressive and irritating to the skin. To soothe the skin and limit hair regrowth, here's an easy serum recipe.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Necessary Materials

Attributes amount for 50ml

  • 2 tablespoons yellow nutsedge oil (29.4g / 29.4ml / 58.8%)

  • 2 teaspoons calendula oil (10.6g / 10.6ml / 21.2%)

  • 2 teaspoons jojoba oil (9.5g / 9.5ml / 19%)

  • 10 drops lavender aspic essential oil (0.5g / 1%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Measure and pour the yellow nutsedge, calendula and jojoba plant oils into the clean, empty bottle using the funnel.

  2. Add lavender essential oil.

  3. Close the container and shake vigorously to mix all ingredients.

  4. Your post-waxing serum is ready.

How to use this product

The serum should be used after each hair removal treatment. Note that the 'anti-hair' effect of Tiger Nut oil only works on areas where the hair has been pulled out along with the bulb (waxing, electric epilator, etc.).

Apply a small quantity of post-depilation serum, massaging only into the depilated areas. Repeat daily for best results. You can use the treatment within one month of the first use. Store away from air and moisture.

The benefits of the post-depilation serum

Nutmeg oil is known to limit hair regrowth after depilation. It won't stop it, but it will make the hair finer and sparser.

It also soothes the depilated area. For even greater comfort, we've added calendula oil and jojoba oil. Skin is soothed, nourished, and protected.

Lavender Aspic essential oil, which is optional for this recipe, will also protect the skin from razor burn (remember to do an allergy test before adding the essential oil).
