Nourishing, repairing, moisturising, protecting!

This is not an oil, but liquid gold. This elixir, to which the Incas attributed mystical properties, activates its #1 weapon with each application: the light with which it floods our skin. An elixir from Central America, sometimes called 'Inca gold', this golden plant wax with ultra-nourishing properties protects the skin and slows the appearance of wrinkles. Jojoba oil, cold-pressed in Argentina, also brings shine, suppleness, and strength to even the driest hair. Similar to human sebum, it is dry and non-greasy, with over 80% monounsaturated fatty acids (omega-9), giving it exceptional healing and repairing properties. It regulates the skin, making it the perfect ally for combination to oily skin. It's the ultimate makeup remover!

The botanical minute

Jojoba, also known as 'desert gold' or 'sheep's nut', is a shrub that grows in arid environments. Its olive-sized seeds are used to make wax, otherwise known as 'jojoba oil'. Jojoba is a shrub with foliage reminiscent of the olive tree. It can last up to a year and a half without water!

Production process: Extraction by first cold pressing

Solubility: Soluble in oil. Insoluble in water.

Texture/Scent: Pale yellow liquid, discreet, neutral scent

The yellow deposit at the bottom of a bottle comes from the oil's saturated fatty acids, which solidify at room temperature (around 20°C).

This phenomenon depends on storage conditions and in no way alters the quality or properties of the oil.

To restore the oil to its usual appearance, simply warm it up for a few minutes in a bain-marie.

PACKAGING: 50ml PET bottle with white plastic cap. 100ml RPET bottle, 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic with an aluminum twist cap to release the oil gradually. The RPET (recycled PET) bottle is slightly greyer than conventional PET. Transparency is therefore slightly altered. As a result, the colour of our oils as seen through the packaging will be slightly different, but it is still the same product. Find out more about our packaging STORAGE: Store away from the light in a cool, dry place. PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse for several minutes, keeping the eyelids open. Do not swallow. If swallowed, rinse the mouth.
