Description

TULSI POWDER

Detoxifying, purifying, mattifying, soothing!

Renowned for its strong purifying, antiseptic, and soothing properties, Tulsi powder is an essential Ayurvedic skin and hair care product.

Used as a mask or shampoo, this vitamin A and C-rich powder is recommended for soothing skin and scalp irritations and itching. It also deep-cleans hair and eliminates impurities. This also makes it an ally against the aggression of pollution on the skin.

The cultural minute

Tulsi, a member of the basil family, has been used for over 5,000 years in Asia, Egypt, and Europe. It plays an important role not only in Ayurvedic culture, due to its many properties, but also in the religion and culture of many civilizations.

In Egypt, it was used in the mummification process for its antibacterial properties. In Greece, it was the symbol of fertility, while in India it was the symbol of the reincarnation of the goddess of prosperity. Tulsi was also widely used in religious rituals as a purifying element.

Traditionally, Tulsi powder is consumed as an infusion to benefit from its soothing, balancing and relaxing effect on body and mind.
