Necessary Materials

Attributes amount for 50g

  • 3 tablespoons baking soda (17.5g/ 35%)

  • 2 tablespoons SCI (11.7g/ 23.4%)

  • 1 tablespoon white clay (5.85g/11.7%)

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (6g/12%)

  • 1 teaspoon peppermint floral water (5.85g/5.58ml/11.7%)

  • 60 drops peppermint essential oil (2.5g/5%)

  • 15 drops lemon essential oil (0.6g/1.2%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Place a saucepan on the stove with a base of water for your bain-marie. Pour the SCI and coconut oil into the bowl. Place the bowl in the bain-marie. Heat gently until a paste forms.

  2. Remove from heat and add the white clay, baking soda, water and essential oil in batches, stirring frequently.

  3. The result is a fairly compact paste. Pour it into a container, or into a silicone mold if you want to shape your solid toothpaste.

  4. Leave to dry at room temperature or in a cool place.

  5. Your solid toothpaste is ready.

How to use this product

To use your solid toothpaste, simply moisten your toothbrush. Then rub it gently over the solid toothpaste. You can now brush your teeth.

Repeat if necessary.

We recommend storing your solid toothpaste in a clean, dry place.

You can make the recipe up to 9 times from the products listed above.

Why choose homemade mint solid toothpaste?

Our solid toothpaste recipe is healthier in terms of composition than conventional toothpaste. The latter contains many controversial ingredients.

With solid toothpaste, or any other toothpaste with a cleaner composition, you'll be able to clean your teeth effectively while protecting your teeth and gums, without worrying about its composition.
