The sun is out and it feels really good. Many people take the opportunity to bask in the sun, sometimes forgetting that the sun burns.

Today we'd like to share with you an easy-to-make DIY product that will soothe and repair your skin after long exposure to the sun.

We've chosen to add carrot oil to maintain your tan and prolong that golden-skin effect we love in summer.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Attributes amount for 100ml

  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil (12.6g / 12.6 ml / 12.6%)

  • 2 teaspoons yuzu shea butter (8.3g / 8.3ml / 8.3%)

  • 4.5 tablespoons moisturizing milk base (67.1g / 67.1 ml / 67.1%)

  • 2 teaspoons carrot oil (12g / 12ml / 12%)

Step-by-Step

  1. To make preparation easier, start by melting the shea butter and coconut oil.

  2. We chose to melt them for a few seconds in a bain-marie.

  3. Once the mixture has melted, add the carrot oil and finish with the moisturizing milk base.

  4. Whisk until smooth.

How to use this product

Apply this lotion to the body after long exposure to the sun. You can also use it on sunburns.

The combination of shea butter, coconut oil and carrot oil will soothe the effects of sunburn. It will also help to nourish, moisturise and repair your skin, which will be much drier after a tanning session.

For this DIY, we've used our flagship product, Yuzu-scented shea butter, but you can replace it with plain shea butter.

For added freshness, you can store your balm in a cool place. It will be all the more pleasant to use.
