Many of you are looking for the ideal skin care product to give you the best tan.

For a change from conventional creams and oils, we suggest you make tanning bars.

It will lightly colour your skin for a very natural effect. Thanks to shea butter, you'll also be able to nourish your skin.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Necessary Materials

Attributes amount per 100g

  • 2 tablespoons buriti oil (28.3g / 28.3ml / 28.3%)

  • 2 tablespoons carrot oil (28.1g / 28.1ml / 28.1%)

  • 2 tablespoons shea butter (27.9g / 27.9ml / 27.9%)

  • 2 tablespoons candelilla wax (15.2g / 15.2%)

  • ½ teaspoon gold pearl mica (0.5g / 0.5%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Start by placing the shea butter, buriti oil, candelilla wax and carrot oil in your bowl.

  2. Place in a bain-marie and allow to melt gently (the heat should be at least under the bain-marie). Once melted, remove from heat.

  3. Add the mica and mix well.

  4. All that's left to do is pour your mixture into the silicone molds. Leave the tanning bars to set in a cool place. Once hardened, remove from the molds.

  5. We recommend that you let your bars air-dry for 48 hours.

  6. Your tanning bars are ready.

How to use this product

How to use your tanning bars?

Tanning bars are very easy to use. Simply rub them over your skin. They will melt on contact with the skin. Then massage with your hands to spread the product evenly. You can use them all over your body and face. They'll go with you to the beach, but we advise you to keep them in a cool place to prevent them from melting (a cooler, for example).

The benefits of tanning bars

As their name suggests, these bars will help your skin tan and maintain your tan for several weeks afterwards. Carrot oil and buriti oil are ideal if you want to tan using natural products. They will nourish your skin and hair, and buriti oil will also protect them from the sun.

Shea butter will nourish and soothe your skin. Mica will illuminate your skin

Focus on micas

The word mica comes from the latin micare, meaning to shine, to sparkle. Natural mica has been used since the 1970s as a pearlescent pigment in cosmetics. These small particles reflect the light to create a pearly, shiny effect.

Our mica powders are 100% natural and mineral. We guarantee top-quality products with preserved properties.
