DEODORIZED SHEA BUTTER
Nourishes, protects and regenerates!
Extracted pure from the shea tree, this butter, irreplaceable in African traditions, is recommended for everyone and everything.
It moisturises, nourishes, softens, and revitalizes skin and hair.
Packed with essential fatty acids and rich in vitamins A, E,, and F, it protects and repairs all skin types, from the driest (especially those subject to sunburn, dermatitis, flaking, cracks and stretch marks) to the most sensitive, such as the skin of babies. The flakes visible at the surface of the shea butter are a sign of its authenticity.
The botanical minute
It's only after 18 years that the Shea tree begins to flower. It can live for 200 to 300 years! Its trunk can measure between 1.5 and 1.8 metres in diametre. The bark is thick and grey. In the dry season (November to January), pretty cream-coloured flowers can be found on the shea tree. The pollen is highly prized by bees. It produces fruits, the shea nuts. These nuts come in clusters of green, round fruits. They are used to produce butters and oils.
