Whether for men or women, shaving and waxing are part of our beauty routines.

To make shaving easier, we use shaving foams or other products to facilitate razor glide. As with all the skincare products we use, it's important to pay attention to their composition.

So today, we'd like to suggest that you make your own shaving cream using only natural ingredients.

You'll see, it's very simple.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Attributes amount for 100ml

  • 4 teaspoons coconut oil (20.4g / 20.4ml / 20.4%)

  • 3 tablespoons washing base (40.8g / 40.8%)

  • 1/2 teaspoon shea butter (3.4g / 3.4ml / 3.4%)

  • 3 teaspoons SCI (15g / 15%)

  • 4 teaspoons vegetable glycerin (20.4g / 20.4ml / 20.4%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Take one of the bowls and mix in the cleansing base and glycerine.

  2. In the second bowl, add the coconut oil, shea butter and SCI.

  3. When your mixture is smooth, transfer it to the first bowl.

  4. Blend this time with an immersion blender

  5. Your recipe is complete when you have obtained a very white, voluminous, homogeneous mixture.

How to use this product

Take the amount of cream you need. Apply it to the area you wish to shave, and let your razor glide on your skin.

Rinse with clear water after shaving. You can apply vegetable oil or shea butter to soothe your skin and protect it from irritation.

Your preparation may set slightly due to the coconut oil and shea butter. To obtain a homogeneous texture, run your bottle under warm water and shake vigourously.

Focus on the ingredients

Coconut oil is moisturising, softening and sublimating. It has so many exceptional nutritive qualities that it quickly transports us to sunny islands.

A mythical beauty ritual from the tropics, coconut oil is naturally rich in saturated fatty acids. It has extraordinary emollient properties. It deeply nourishes even the driest hair and gently softens damaged skin.

Extremely rich in lauric acid, its powers are countless: It reduces cellulite, fades wrinkles and age spots, etc. Its high content in purifying fatty acids makes it an excellent skin and hair protector.

SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) is a natural surfactant derived from coconut. Thanks to SCI, your shaving cream will keep its shape and give your preparation a foaming action. SCI also has softening properties.

Precautions & Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use pure active ingredients. Follow recommended dosages.
