The botanical minute

Recognized by its violet flowers and distinctive scent, Lavender Aspic grows in the south of France, as well as in Spain, Portugal, and North Africa. This lavender grows up to 80cm tall. Its flowers are purplish-blue. This shrub is found in France, Spain, England, and the Mediterranean basin. Very similar to its cousin lavender officinalis, it is less widely used in perfumery because of its camphorated odor. It is also distinguished by its biochemical composition.
