Need a restorative massage after exercise? Make this massage bar with argan oil, mango butter, candelilla wax, and ylang-ylang essential oil. A new approach to massage.

Necessary Materials

Attributes amount 50g

  • 4 teaspoons argan oil (19.75g / 19.75ml / 39.5%)

  • 1 ½ tablespoons mango butter (25g / 50%)

  • 1 teaspoon candelilla wax (5g / 10%)

  • 5 drops ylang ylang essential oil (0.25g / 0.5%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Weigh, mix and melt the mango butter, candelilla wax and argan oil in a bain-marie.

  2. Remove the mixture from the heat when smooth.

  3. Stir in ylang ylang essential oil.

  4. Pour the mixture into a mould and leave in the fridge for 12 hours.

  5. Unmold.

  6. Your homemade massage bar recipe is ready.

How to use this product

On dry skin, rub your massage bar with light, circular movements. You can use this recipe several times a day.

Focus on the ingredients

Candelilla wax creates thick, creamy textures and protects the skin from external aggressors.

Mango butter soothes, softens, and smooths the skin.

Argan oil deeply repairs the skin. It nourishes and softens the skin.

Ylang-ylang essential oil is stimulating and calming.

Precautions & Warnings

Use essential oils with care. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use undiluted. Do not use on children, pregnant or nursing women, or people sensitive to essential oils. Consult a health care practitioner if you are taking medication or for any other use. Test in the crook of the elbow 48 hours before use. Some essential oils are photosensitising: Avoid going out in the sun after applying a product containing these essential oils.
