Summer holidays are finally here. Many of us are longing for the sun (with the right protection, of course). At the end of the day, our skin is crying out for freshness and soothing care. There are lotions, balms and sprays that will do it good. Today, we'd like to share with you an ultra-simple DIY for a guaranteed burst of freshness.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Attributes amount for 100ml

  • 2 tablespoons peppermint floral water (32.8g/ 32.8ml/ 32.8%)

  • 2 tablespoons Roman chamomile floral water (32.8g / 32.8ml/ 32.8%)

  • 2 tablespoons witch hazel floral water (32.8g / 32.8ml/ 32.8%)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable glycerin (1.6g/ 1.6ml/ 1.6%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Pour the peppermint, Roman chamomile and witch hazel floral waters into your measuring glass.

  2. Then add the vegetable glycerin.

  3. Pour the mixture into your clean, empty spray bottle.

  4. Once closed, shake the bottle to mix all your ingredients.

  5. Your refreshing spray is ready.

How to use this product

Always shake your spray before use. After a day in the sun, in the evening after a long day at work, or after makeup removal to tone and soothe your skin, spray directly onto your face. The refreshing spray can also be used on the rest of the body to soothe sunburns. You can double or triple the quantities for extra care (this recipe can be repeated 13 times). Use the spray within 3 months of first use (the floral waters are preserved).

The benefits of the refreshing spray

To make this refreshing spray, we've chosen ingredients that will do your skin good: Roman chamomile floral water is soothing, peppermint floral water is invigourating and refreshing, and witch hazel floral water soothes and calms fragile skin. Vegetable glycerine moisturises the skin and helps keep it hydrated to prevent dehydration. WAAM floral waters are the result of distilling flowers or plants in aloe vera water. This aloe vera will soothe and moisturise your skin. It is an easy-to-make and highly effective skin care product to try out.

You can make the recipe up to 13 times using the products listed above.
