    Description

    JAPANESE WAX (BERRY WAX)

    Protective, Emollient, Texturizing!

    Japanese vegetable wax provides soft, emollient textures. It's an ideal ally for replacing beeswax in your vegan recipes.

    Thanks to its very low melting point, between 48 and 54 degrees, Japanese wax can be used for makeup, hair care, and body care products.

    The botanical minute

    Japanese vegetable wax comes from the bark of a tree native to Asia, now cultivated in China, Japan, and Korea. Also known as the lacquer tree, it produces a very soft, emollient wax.

    Product composition

    INCI: Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera

    Origin: China

    Part used: Root, bark

    Production method: Obtained by decoction. The elements are immersed in boiling water to extract the wax, which rises to the surface as a paste. The paste is then recovered and heated to remove all the water. Once cooled, the wax is pelletized.

    Composition: Fatty acid, glycerol ester

    Solubility: Miscible in oil Melting point: 48-54°C

    Texture/Scent: Pale yellow, round pellets with a discreet, neutral scent

    STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from sources of heat and protected from light. Close the container tightly after each use.

    PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse for several minutes, keeping the eyelids open. Do not swallow. If swallowed, rinse the mouth. Keep out of reach of children.
