Make your own respiratory balm

This recipe will help you breathe easier despite this winter's bitter cold.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Attributes amount for 50g

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (21.25g / 42.5%)

  • 1 teaspoon raw shea butter (5.8g / 11.6%)

  • 3 teaspoons vegetable glycerin (12.8g / 12.5ml/ 25.6%)

  • 2 teaspoons Japanese wax (7g / 14%)

  • 35 drops rosemary camphor essential oil (1.4g/2.8%)

  • 8 drops Laurel essential oil (0.35g/ 0.7%)

  • 35 drops Tea tree essential oil (1.4g/ 2.8%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Weigh the oils and shea butter. Mix well. Add the Japanese wax and place the bowl in a bain-marie.

  2. Once the wax has melted, add the glycerine.

  3. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the essential oils.

  4. Put the mixture in a jar for storage.

How to use this product

In cold weather, we tend to get sick. During the day or in the evening, you can apply a little balm to the base of your neck.

The scent of camphor will unblock and decongest your nose.

The recipe is composed mainly of oils, which will penetrate your skin to nourish it.

Precautions & Warnings

Use essential oils with care. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use undiluted. Do not use on children, pregnant or nursing women, or people sensitive to essential oils.
A health professional should be consulted if you are taking medication or for any other use. Test in the crook of the elbow 48 hours before use.
