A shower bar is a solid shower gel. Made from natural ingredients, it will pamper your skin.

Before starting your DIY recipes, it is important to download the recommended Hygiene Rules.

Necessary Materials

Attributes amount per 100g

  • 2 tablespoons SCI (60g / 60%)

  • 4 teaspoons neem powder (20g / 20%)

  • 6 teaspoons cocoa butter (19.5g / 19.50%)

  • 14 drops tea tree essential oil (0.5g / 0.5%)

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the SCI and neem powder in a bain-marie.

  2. Add the cocoa butter. Once the butter has melted, remove the mixture from the bain-marie.

  3. Leave to cool for a few minutes, then add the essential oil.

  4. Pour the mixture into a mold. Place in the fridge for 24 hours.

  5. Turn out. Your recipe is ready!

How to use this product

Focus on the ingredients

SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) is a natural surfactant derived from coconut. Thanks to SCI, your shower bar will keep its shape. It gives your shower bar its foamy texture. SCI also has softening properties.

Cocoa butter is nourishing.

Neem powder is excellent for purifying and detoxifying the skin.

Precautions & Warnings

Avoid contact with the eyes.

Use essential oils with care. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use pure essential oils and active ingredients. Follow recommended dosages. Do not use on children, pregnant or nursing women, or people sensitive to essential oils. Consult a health care professional in the event of medical treatment or for any other use. Test in the crook of the elbow 48 hours before use. Some essential oils are photo-sensitising: avoid going out in the sun after applying a product containing these essential oils.
